More “Progressive” UK Labour Law

A tribunal has awarded a former security supervisor at a Scottish airport £45,100 ($60,000). They ruled that a contracting business had unfairly fired her following a string of absences. Why show up for work when you can’t be fired if you don’t?

A Scottish tribunal has ruled that a prison transport company did not discriminate against a Christian employee when it fired him for refusing to refer to transgender prisoners by their preferred pronouns.

Of course they support free speech and freedom of religion; provided it doesn’t impinge on the “men in skirts” insanity.

A London train driver has be awarded £3,924 ($5,346) after a tribunal found that an HR manager at London Underground failed to account for his dyslexia after the manager told him that he ignored an email footer stating he would not get a response to his complaint.

Why would his manager know that he had dyslexia?

A non profit has been ordered to pay compensation of over £19,000 ($26,000) to a worker it supposedly unfairly dismissed. They “discriminated” against him by giving him just 3 hours’ notice before a disciplinary investigation, even though they knew he suffered from anxiety.
